Who I Am
Security-minded engineer with a builder’s mindset and a creative streak.
I’m Cameron Robbins - a Cybersecurity Engineer at The MITRE Corporation. I’m a graduate of Worcester Polytechnic Institute with a B.S. in Computer Science, and a proud New Hampshire native who values hands-on problem solving, continuous learning, and building technology that makes a real impact.
I primarily work on full-stack applications, data analysis, and cyber threat intelligence, along with some work with AI. Highlights include building an AI-powered tutoring tool CAIT as my capstone project at WPI, a hospital operations system for a software development seminar, threat analysis pipelines for the MITRE Corporation, and a geospatial environmental analysis research project for FUNDECOR + BIOTA in Costa Rica. I enjoy working through the full development lifecycle - defining requirements, designing scalable architectures, writing clean and efficient APIs, testing for reliability, and deploying with security and performance in mind. I like turning complex problems into simple, maintainable, and scalable solutions that work end to end.
Focus Areas
Featured Interests
A few areas I spend the most time building, exploring, and creating in.
Photography
I’m just getting into photography (primarily outdoor/landscape and automotive). It’s a fun counterbalance to engineering: storytelling, composition, and patience. As I learn, I’ll post my favorite shots and notes on gear and editing. I’m always open to collaborations and feedback.
Cars
I’m an enthusiast who enjoys everything about cars - driving, spotting, and digging into design and performance. Expect build logs, parts lists, maintenance notes, and overall impressions. I’m also getting into track driving, so I’ll post tracks/lap times, and any other updates here.
Outdoors
I’ve spent my life surrounded by mountains, rivers, and trails. Growing up in New Hampshire meant the outdoors wasn’t just a place to visit—it was part of daily life. Whether it was skiing, hiking, or biking, I never remember a time when being outside didn’t feel natural.
Collaboration
Let's Connect
I'm always interested in discussing cybersecurity, engineering challenges, photography, or outdoor adventures.
